A leading global online education company needed to develop a comprehensive data backup infrastructure which included requirements for a large server environment and a large (international) mobile field sales force.

4Base interviewed business leaders and other stakeholders to develop restore RPO and RTO details, created SLAs between the business and IT, and designed a complete backup and restore architecture. The plan developed & deployed by 4Base took into account the issues presented by a very non-technical sales force, a server environment with a limited backup window and an aggressively mandated RTO.

Ultimately, 4Base delivered a plan that included a methodology for remote users to access their backed-up data via a simple to use web interface from anywhere in the world, archives in multiple locations, and a five year maintenance and upgrade plan.
